Climbing down the bank to the sandy area under the bridge, Angyl appears to have some difficulty carrying the usual two cases of cheap vodka to the vagrants that live there.

"Awright mates, time for a boozer. This bloke's buyin t'night."

He drops the cases to the ground and cracks open the first case.  Holding up two bottles, he tosses the first to the closest, which happens to be one of the ones he's fed on before.

"That's right boyos the party is just getting started."

Making rounds with the community carrying a bottle and sharing it with his "mates".  Chatting them up and making friendly noises, though a few shy away from him there are a some that are definitely more attracted to the alcohol and override their feelings of discomfort by his presence.

After spending sometime with the ones that will give him the time, Angyl cuts one of the herd and gets her away from the fire for what she hopes is more than a little snogging. Success! what she feels is definitely better than just "a bit of snoggin'".  After taking just enough so as to not harm the poor 'gel', when one of the 'nervous nellies' sees the slight drop of blood on the corner of his mouth.

Pointing at him she lets out a loud squeak and runs to the nearest groups standing around the small bon fires.

Quickly closing the wound and wiping his mouth on his sleeve, Angyl gently pulls the waif to her feet and heads her over to the fire.

"Wot's the problem 'ere, we was just enjoyin' a bit o' mild company?"

The girl walks up with him there is definitely a glazed intoxicated look in her eyes along with the afterglow of some good "sex" on her face.

The crowd that had gathered looks at the girl and then at Angyl. A little suspicious, but not much more so than the first time he came down here.

Leaving the girl at the fire with the others he wanders off down the river to disappear into the fog that is slowly rolling in. He shrugs and settles his coat into a better position.

"Ah shyte, this is gonna take a bit longer than I thought. Bollux!"

As you turn away to leave you hear one of the vagrant kids shout.  "What the FUCK man, what'd you do to my girl?"  He comes storming at you, fists balled.  The girl staggers, stumbles and falls.  Two of her friends luckily catch her.  But she doesn't look good.  The combination of alcohol and blood loss might not have been a good thing.

The kid comes storming up, and it looks like his commotion has caught some attention.  Others are drifting away from the fire to see what the noise is about.

He grabs your collar, shaking you.  "What.  The.  Fuck.  Did you do?"

Spinning, Angyl puts his hand on the lads chest.

"'Old on there mate, she's the one 'oo come on to me. I can't 'elp it if she can' 'old 'er liquor... Besides she wasn' that good so why should I 'ave done 'nything to 'er 'nyway?"

Looking up at the bum, he can't help it just about everyone's taller than he, Angyl puts on his innocent, most angelic face. Clenching his other hand into a fist behind his back.

This could work out if I beat the tough boy then they might follow me after all... let's try to turn this li'l mistake into 'n advantage.

There's a call back from the crowd.  "Man...she's bad.  She's bad man..."

The not-so-veiled insult doesn't help defuse the kid's anger.  He shoves you back.  "What are, some fuckin' sex perv?  "What'd you slip her?  Fuckin' answer me!" Each sentence is punctuated by a sharp shove, each growing more and more aggressive.  He looks on the verge of making things very physical.

"Mate all we did was a l'il grope 'n snog. I don't need to give 'ny g'el somefin'... they always come to me. Are you talkin' from 'sperience boyo, you slipped her somefin' in the past? That 'ow you know wots wrong wif 'er? Or be'er yet you slipped it to 'er earlier 'n it didn' mix well wif the free alcohol I just gave ya?

Keeping his cold dead hand on the scums chest, not even trying to hide his nature if he could push his eerie presence harder without breaking the mask right now he would, to keep him at arms length just within striking distance. Meanwhile keeping an eye and ear on the crowd so as to prevent any surprises.

"So mate castin' disparages on me gonna save you in the eyes of yer mates. It's obvious yer trying to make me look bad."

The crowd has been drawing closer, more people attracted as the commotion grows.  They're formed up in a loose half-circle around you.  Some of them are calling encouragement to the kid, others jeering at you.

"Punch his lights out!"

"Get the fuck outta here!"

"Fuck 'im up good!"

Whether its your continued taunts or the verbal supports of his mates, finally the anger bubbles over and the kid swings a fist out for you.  He's scrawny after years of living on the street, definitely one of those sorts whose overabundance of "fighting spirit" has made up for a lack of physical proficiency.  His fist smacks you on the chin, but aside from a momentary shock of pain has little effect.

"Mate, I warned ya. Now is not th' time t' make enemies. I brought presents, 'ad li'l cuddle." With dead calm, tight, righteous anger... "'N you... 'ave... t'... ruin... it? I don't think so."

A very wicked looking knife drops into Angyl's other hand from a wrist sheath, and he brings it up to the lad's groin...

"Now wot should we do about this situation mate...? Are we willing to let things go so you can get your 'g'elfriend' some 'elp, or will there be a need for two ambulances?"

The kid hangs on to his spunk, just barely, but you can see the knife definitely takes some of the wind out of his sail.  "Get outta here.  You do anythin' to me, my friends'll fuck you up good.  Get out an' we never wanna see ya here again."  Judging from the tightening ring of bum kids, most of them male and quite a few who look like they've survived a few tumbles, you get the impression that the kid's not bluffing when he says his friends will back him up.

The spinning blade slices neatly into his wrist instead of the sheath.

The blade spins out of your hand, falling to the ground with a thump, and just as you crack your impish grin, the kid darts down and grabs it up.  Whatever tenuous hold you had over him through your intimidation has evaporated.  He grins as he points the sharp end towards you.  The tables have definitely turned.

And then, before you can even react, something smashes into the back of your skull.  Red pain explodes behind your eyes and you stumble forward.

As you stumble forward, you can feel warm blood trickling down over the nape of your neck.  The blow momentarily stuns you, and before you can react, the kid and his companion are on you again.

The first kid in front of you jams his knee up into your face as you stumble forward, the knee slamming you across your nose.

Spinning out of the way, Angyl draws both pistols and points them at the two attackers.

"Ok... You Bloody Mother Fuckers, this has gone far enough! Wolk away now I have problem droppin' yer bloody asses right now."

The kids' eyes instantly go wide and they start backing up.  They might be willing to slug it out with an unarmed Limey, but neither of them are interested in taking a bullet.

"Just...just get the fuck out of here, man!" the first kid stammers, trying to remain forceful.  "We don't wanna see you no more."

The rest of the circle has taken a step back once the guns were drawn, and a hushed silence has fallen over the gathering.  But even if they're no longer rushing in to pummel you into a pulp, their hate and anger is still palpable.

With a fierce glare at the kid with the knife.

"Give us the knife and step away mate... as a matter of fact all you bloody ass'oles back off."

The kid tosses the knife at your feet and backs away a step.  Many of the others in the crowd decide they're no longer interested in the goings-on and are wandering back to the fires.

Keeping his eyes and weapons trained on the kids, he slowly crouches down and picks his blade. After standing up,keeping the gun trained on tough number 1, and pocketing the blade, Angyl lowers the weapons to his side, shrugs, looks both of his attackers over, and memorizes their faces then walks offusing his acute hearing to monitor if they follow.

He thinks to himself, "No one attacks me and lives long after mate."

The kids don't follow you, but stare after you until you disappear out of sight.  You hear a few muttered curses and profanities uttered in your direction, but other than that, they're not hot on going after you.

Walking in the fog that rolled off the river, Angyl goes over in his mind how those two shall sate his next need to quench his thirst.
