Hunting Difficulty:  7

Cleveland's cultural heart contains a number of museums, hospitals, and institutions of learning.  Apartment complexes house students of the nearby Case Western Reserve University and employees of the nearby hospitals, while the local bars, convenience stores, and a few restaurants cater to these residents and visitors to the cultural sites.  Just beyond this district lies Little Italy, which further attracts people to the area.  The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and Severance Hall attract tourists and locals alike, and University Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic have become world renowned medical centers.  While most residents of the region are middle income students and workers, the presence of such important cultural and business centers means that the police do not overlook this area.  While the museums usually close early, they can provide particularly select victims for those Kindred who prefer "classier" meals.  Hunting in and near the hospitals present their own difficulties that not a few enterprising Kindred have taken to challenging.  Of course, sudden deaths in hospital wards are sometimes to be expected...

Potential Prey:  High society elite, students coming from late classes, the ill and invalid

Complications:  Police involvement, problems with breaking and entering, hospital security

Vampires…I’ve been thinking about vampires honey.  How, you know, they’re undead and all.  And that’s supposed to be horrible.  But maybe…one day…you just wake up and forget what its like to be human – all the pain is gone – and it’s something beautiful.

Raiding the Blood Banks

Characters may raid the blood banks of the Cleveland Clinic or University Hospital.  However, this will be treated as a normal scene rather than a hunt, and will require players to act out their infiltration of hospital security.  Which won't be easy.  The plus side to this is, however, that if you do get through security, instead of making a single die roll for blood intake you may steal packets of plasma to stockpile for later use, which would negate the need for making emergency hunts until your stock runs out.

You may make a normal hunting roll as above, but will only be able to grab enough 1d10 blood points of plasma as you make a quick smash and grab, or con a nurse out of a few packets.
