It has been too long coming for Uncle Vince and Aunt Rose's visit.  Unc' was able to file the police report that the Jeep was stolen from his possession in Chicago and behold!, it come up in Cleveland. Go figure, the Jeep was bare to begin with, a habit that Johnnie picked up for security and masquerade reasons, so the vehicle held little next to nothing.  There shouldn't have been much the police could find in it relating to the criminal and didn't.

The police subsequently conducted there investigation and consequently, relinquished the vehicle to Uncle Vince in which it was registered in his name providing the registration and purchase papers to prove it.  Johnnie would have picked the Jeep up himself had it not been for the cops at the Waterfront.  He had a fake Chicago license with Uncle Vince's creds, but the age and picture was all that was changed....

Johnnie eagerly awaited the arrival of hitwo beloved surrogate parents, loyal ghouls to the Sinapoli famliy. He heard footsteps up the back stairs to his apartment with a polite but firm knock on the back door.

As Johnnie opened the door, both surrogate parents immediately embraced him firmly expressing their gratitude in seeing him once again.  "Ciao bella madonna mio...", Johnnie said holding Aunt Roses face gently in his hands.  She seemed to have aged slightly and looked tired from the demands of the shipping business.

"Bello, we miss you so much.  Why have you not seen us sooner..", Aunt Rose asked hald angry, half relieved that Johnnie was with them.

"I know Zia, I know... but you are here with me now and we have much to get caught up on.  Wal-Mart likes our cross-dock strategy at the warheouse and the rep landed the Cleveland Wal-Mart account.  The amount flowing through the warehouse will cover the overhead.  We pick up a couple of other accounts and our Cleveland terminal will be established..."

Uncle Vince clasped Johnnie on the shoulder nearly coming to tears with pride as only a father could show.  Johnnie grabbed their bags and brought them into the living room.  On the floor was a queen size air mattress for his little family.  Now that they were here, he would need to find a bigger place so that they can traverse back and forth until management is established smoothly at the Cleveland and Chicago warehouses.  Aunt Rose brought a small cooler with her, opened it, to bring out a large tub of tomato sauce.  The trio ensued in small talk discussing the bus ride into Cleveland, catching up about the business in Chicago and going ons of the neighborhood.  Aunt Rose found the pasta in the cupboard and immediately started cooking the sauce.

Uncle Vince brought the wine out of the cooler and passed it between himself and Aunt Rose.  A brief silence ensued until Johnnie broke it  ... "have you heard from Papa?".  His eyes were looking down at the floor, knowing the answer already.

"No figlio..", Uncle Vince responded.. "the word is out on the street.  We even talked to your friend 'Jolly Man' and has nothing ...".

Bad news, if Jolly can't get any information, then nobody can.  Something happend to Papa.  God help the son of bitch that caused it.  Nobody hurts the Sinapoli family... Nobody.  He will need to develop his own set and find the bastards to satiate his inner fire.  Patience though is what Papa taught him and time is a luxury amongst the damned..

"Let's leave business alone for now figlio..", Aunt Rose said coming over to give him a big motherly hug.  Johnnie hugged her closely feeling peace that his family is with him.  Many things have happened as of late with him and it was good to have 'home' with him tonight.

Aunt Rose pulled back slowly grabbing his face saying, "go tend to the sauce, Giovanni, go...".  She ended the statement in earnest.  It has been too long of a visit for both of them.  Unconciously, Uncle Vince and Aunt Rose went into the dining room to set up the table, not so much to get dinner ready, but more to give Johnnie the space needed in keeping with the pink elephant on the table a secret in how he tends the sauce.  As soon as he heard them busying themselves with the table, Johnnie heads over to the stove, pulls out his switchblade, and makes a horizontal cut across the wrist, spilling his own blood into the sauce for this beloved Aunt and his Uncle  (3 blood points to ensure that each gets 1).  After spilling his blood into the rich garlicy sauce, Johnnie licks his wrist closed.

He then stirs the sauce, drains the pasta, mixes both contents into a large bowl, places the serving untensils in the pasta, bringing the entire bowl out to the table in a grand presentation.  It is the little things in life that one cherishes....

With his family close now... how will he deal with the Russians?

If I’m an outsider it isn’t my

((In the future, since you're dealing with authorities that are outside your control, don't assume that you'll be getting impounded personal items back.  Your car was found at the scene of a major criminal enterprise, that turned into a major bust.  Reporting it stolen after the fact isn't likely going to get it released so easily, unless you have ways of influencing the system))

Vampires…I’ve been thinking about vampires honey.  How, you know, they’re undead and all.  And that’s supposed to be horrible.  But maybe…one day…you just wake up and forget what its like to be human – all the pain is gone – and it’s something beautiful.

((OOC: I can alter the string to make it 'legal'.  Uncle Vince and Aunt Rose could be bringing me a new car.))

((It's not a huge deal, I was just giving you heads up for future reference.  Anything dealing with the law should go through me or Radiation first to make sure you can get away with it))
